Cailloux Cheese Shop came to us with a mission: as they prepared to relocate, they needed to level up from their homegrown, DIY vibe to a brand that screamed both charm and sophistication—think old French farm meets Parisian bistro, with a side of artisanal cheese perfection. The challenge? Making sure this transformation kept the heart and soul that made Cailloux a beloved local spot.

 BRAND IDENTITY / WEBSITE 

We dove deep into the 19th century (figuratively, of course) and pulled out some seriously cool etchings of dairy animals and farm tools straight from vintage encyclopedias. These elements, layered with whimsical French handwriting, captured that perfect mix of rustic charm and Parisian elegance. And because Janelle, the founder, is a geologist turned cheesemonger, we couldn’t resist weaving in some geological etchings for that extra personal touch.

THE APPROACH

The whole look was tied together with the Nickson font family, which brought just the right balance of rustic and refined. The result? A brand identity that’s as memorable as the cheeses on their shelves—upscale but totally approachable.

And let’s not forget the website. We crafted a digital home for Cailloux that’s as that feels like the shop itself and a user-friendly experience that makes you want to stay and explore. It’s a space that’s all about celebrating the artisanal quality of what they do, while making sure the warmth and charm of the brand shines through.
